| ROSA LACHENMEIER – SERENDIPITY |
| Projekt SERENDIPITY Am 1. Januar 2017 startete ich dieses Projekt und rollte eine Leinwand von 220 x 320 cm auf dem Boden meines Ateliers aus. Auf dieser Leinwand erschuf ich meine Bilder, und Tag für Tag legten sich die Spuren meiner Tätigkeit übereinander. Die überdeckte Leinwand wurde zum Zeitdokument, in dem die Erinnerung an meine gemalten Bilder eingeschrieben ist, eine Art Tagebuch, eine Archäologie meiner Malerei. |
Project SERENDIPITY On 1st January 2017, I started this project and rolled out a canvas of 220 x 320 cm onto the floor of my studio. I created my paintings on top of this canvas and day by day, the traces of my activity were layered on top of each other. This covered canvas became a contemporary document on which the memory of my painted pictures was inscribed: a kind of diary, an archaeology of my painting. |
